What is bracelets & bangles? 

Firstly thank you to everyone who takes the time to visit bracelets & bangles each day. This blog acts as an outlet for my increasingly developing love for fashion and writing. It is simply a place where I can post about all things fashion related, although often I like to post film reviews and I will soon be posting monthly beauty product reviews as well. If I think other people will find it interesting or amusing I will post about it.

I do not write this blog for any financial gain or for any reason other than the fact that I enjoy reading and writing about fashion and that I aspire to work in fashion myself.  

Who is the author? 

My name is Lauryn and I started writing bracelets & bangles in November 2010. Since then I have become completely addicted to the world of blogging and spend just as much time on my own blog as I do stalking other peoples! I graduated from university in 2010 with a degree in English and American Literature, so as you might have guessed I am a book-worm and an avid writer. I am 22 years old and am currently living in Exeter, Devon although who knows what the future may hold. 

Where can I find bracelets & bangles?

If you are reading this I am guessing you have managed to happen upon my little blog just fine, however if you ever need to find it through other means, I post daily links on twitter, facebook and I am also a member of the IFB Network (Independent Fashion Bloggers). What is your fashion philosophy? 

Anyone who knows me will know just how much I am addicted to buying clothes, clothes and more clothes! I am trying to cut down as I have lots of plans for 2013 in terms of travelling, however I firmly believe that you should treat yourself to something pretty every now and again. I don’t really have favourite places that I like to shop, it's usually a case of no matter where it’s from I will buy it if I like it enough and it's not too pricey. I am also completely obsessed with jewellery and anything that might shine, sparkle or glitter. I don't really have a philosophy as such but I would say that as long as you are being yourself when it comes to what you are wearing, you will look fabulous:) Sometimes I am a little daunted by new trends or things that I would perhaps like to try out but don’t have the confidence to, so most importantly have fun with what you are wearing and don’t shy away from things that are a bit 'out there'.

Who are your fashion icons?

I have a stalker relationship with the Olsen twins, in particular MK Olsen and the likes of Fearne Cotton, Alexa Chung, Nicole Richie and of course Carrie Bradshaw. They all inspire me in different ways, as I seem to like style when it appears effortless. I would say that all of these women fall under that style heading.

Do you have to spend lots of money to blog about fashion?

NO! Okay I am not saying that everything I buy is necessarily cheap, but I do make great use out of cast offs and things I have forgotten about in the back of my wardrobe. When it comes to blogging about fashion you can spend as much or as little as you want and still look great.

What does the future hold for bracelets & bangles?
